Senior IT Project Manager

Allwyn Group is a multi-national lottery operator with a market-leading presence in Austria, the Czech Republic, UK, Greece, Cyprus, Italy and USA. Allwyn became the operator of the UK National Lottery in February 2024.

Over the next two years we are embarking on an ambitious journey to revolutionise the global lottery category. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for people from within and outside the lottery and entertainment industry to join us and play a part in accelerating Allwyn’s growth.

Allwyn is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager who thrives on turning complex IT initiatives into smooth, predictable delivery - someone who takes ownership end‑to‑end, drives Agile execution, and knows how to make Jira truly work for teams (not the other way around). You’ll be at the centre of it all, connecting tech, business, and delivery, and making sure things move fast, make sense, and actually get done.

What you will do:

  • Own full lifecycle delivery of IT projects (initiation, planning, execution, closure).
  • Manage timelines, budgets, scope, risks, and interdependencies across multiple projects.
  • Coordinate across business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors as the main delivery hub.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives) and keep teams unblocked.
  • Own backlog management: prioritisation, refinement, sequencing, and capacity planning.
  • Design and maintain Jira project structures, workflows, boards, and delivery templates.
  • Track dependencies, milestones, and delivery health - and make progress visible through reporting.
  • Surface risks and delivery challenges early, propose mitigations, and drive decisions.
  • Standardise project delivery processes and improve operational efficiency across teams.
  • Ensure documentation, traceability, and auditability of project artefacts.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management / delivery management (enterprise environment).
  • Proven track record managing complex IT initiatives, multiple stakeholders, and dependencies.
  • Hands‑on experience with Agile delivery and sprint-based execution.
  • Strong practical experience with Jira (setup, workflows, boards, reporting, backlog governance).
  • Confidence communicating with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • A structured, ownership‑driven mindset - you commit, deliver, and improve how delivery works.
  • Strong planning skills, prioritisation, and ability to handle multiple moving parts.
  • Fluency in English (spoken/written) in a corporate environment.

Nice to have

  • Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2) and/or Agile certification.
  • Experience in multi‑entity / international environments.
  • Awareness of enterprise IT architecture constraints, information security, and data governance.

What Do We Offer:

  • Stable and friendly international working environment
  • Competitive salary and annual performance bonus
  • 25 days of vacation
  • Pension contribution
  • Meal allowance & subsidised meals in the office building restaurant
  • Multisport card & gym/yoga classes directly in the office
  • Exclusive healthcare
  • Employee discounts at Bořislavka shopping mall
  • Unlimited e‑learning license
  • Company events (volunteering days, teambuildings, sports events sponsored by Allwyn)
  • Laptop and mobile phone also for personal use
  • Modern offices located directly at Bořislavka metro station

Does this opportunity sound exciting to you? Then we would love to hear from you!
