Allwyn is looking for an Investment Associate – Public Tenders & M&A to drive business and corporate development projects across the lottery and gaming sector. You’ll work closely with senior management and international teams in a dynamic and evolving industry.

The primary focus is on public lottery tenders, technology supply contracts, and transactions with strong public procurement or regulatory exposure, and on traditional M&A transactions across gaming sectors such as online and retail sportsbook, iCasino, and gaming technology.

What will you do:

  • Support end-to-end execution of public tenders, investments, and M&A transactions.
  • Identify and analyze new investment opportunities, and actively originate new deals.
  • Build advanced financial & operating models (including DCF, LBO, scenario analysis) to evaluate potential investments.
  • Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and analytical reports.
  • Conduct ad-hoc research, financial estimates and analysis, prepare presentations and participate in the presentation to key stakeholders.
  • Communicate with both external and internal stakeholders (counterparties, funding institutions, external consultants, and business partners) to provide inputs into valuation models and other analyses.
  • Support value creation in portfolio companies post-acquisition.
  • Build strong relationships across operations, finance, legal, and other teams.

What do you need to succeed:

  • 4+ years’ experience in private equity, corporate finance or investment banking
  • Previous exposure to regulated industries and ideally to the gambling industry is an advantage
  • Strong financial modelling and business valuation skills
  • Proactive, independent, and a team player with self-drive
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of seniority and with external partners
  • Knowledge of due diligence, transaction financing, and strategic analysis is an advantage
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international and multicultural environment
  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken)
